Formulabelow can be used to calculate the correct belt length for your SCHNELL TEKNIK Oil Skimmer:

H = Height of vat

Formula: Type A, B, C, 28, 39, MR:
(H+70)x2=Belt length mm.

Formula: Type 56:
(H + 175) x 2 = Belt length

If the fluid level changes a lot you should always use the lowest level as an indication, eg.: If you get the result 860 mm using the above formula, you should choose the nearest lower standard belt length – in this case 800 mm. This belt will be the correct for the job. If you are in any doubt please contact the factory or your distributor. We manufacture belts on special request too.
